Speak of the Reality Shows

I like watching Reality Shows more than US TV Series, like "Prison Break" "Sex and the city" "Friends" "Desperate Housewives" or other Series. I mean, I like watching the TV Series too, but compare with Reality Show, I like the last one better.

I know the shows come out with lots of film editing, cutting or selecting, even sometimes acting. But we still can find out the real reaction on the faces when things go on. We never know what wound happen next, Caz there're no Scripts and rehearsals. Every one in the shows can be one of the show writer. Every one can change the whole game. And that's my favorite part.

People in the Reality Shows are laughing, crying, fighting, speaking dirty words(of course we got beeps), just like us. They're lifefull, so real, they could be one of our freinds, neighbors, or strangers pass throught on the street.

I've watched a lot of Reality Shows, that's for sure. I can tell some of them, like: "The Apprentice" "Survivor" "Project Run Way" "Kid Nation" "The Amazing Race" "America's Got Talent" "Britain's Got Talent", "American Inventor" "Outback Jack" ... and some modeling shows, I forgot the name. Oh, and "So you think you can dance", which I just watched the final show last Saturday night. Of course there are other shows, I just can't think of the names right this moment.

It's a great thing to watch part of other people's life. Maybey we can't have a thousand kind of life style in our life. But you know what, thank for the TV Shows, we can watch as God.

Swine influenza!

I have to cancel my tourist plan to HongKong tomorrow under nowaday condition. As you know, all the newspaper headlines are writted - the Swine Flu(Swine Influenza), from which over 150 people had die.

Here's the news from The World Health Organization (WHO) :

"Swine influenza
27 April 2009
The Emergency Committee, established in compliance with the International Health Regulations (2005), held its second meeting on 27 April 2009. The Committee considered available data on confirmed outbreaks of A/H1N1 swine influenza in the United States of America, Mexico, and Canada. The Committee also considered reports of possible spread to additional countries. On the advice of the Committee, the WHO Director-General has raised the level of influenza pandemic alert from the current phase 3 to phase 4."

"27 April 2009 -- The current situation regarding the outbreak of swine influenza A(H1N1) is evolving rapidly. As of 27 April 2009, the United States Government has reported 40 laboratory confirmed human cases of swine influenza A(H1N1), with no deaths. Mexico has reported 26 confirmed human cases of infection with the same virus, including seven deaths. Canada has reported six cases, with no deaths, while Spain has reported one case, with no deaths.

Further information on the situation will be available on the WHO website on a regular basis.

WHO advises no restriction of regular travel or closure of borders. It is considered prudent for people who are ill to delay international travel and for people developing symptoms following international travel to seek medical attention, in line with guidance from national authorities.

There is also no risk of infection from this virus from consumption of well-cooked pork and pork products. Individuals are advised to wash hands thoroughly with soap and water on a regular basis and should seek medical attention if they develop any symptoms of influenza-like illness."

It's like another event - SARS. I know that feeling of fearful and helpless which we had been trought at the term of SARS. God bless all human.

About The Diary Things

It's been more than half a decade I hadn't write diary. Yeah, I used to write diary when I was a little girl, wrote something silly. You know what I mean, everything is so intersting before you know how it works. But after that, it becomes boring, too boring to be written down.

I never kept my diary books. Cause I destroyed it in evry day of my birthday, and begained a new one, and would destroy it at the next birthday. It soulds a little weird, but, yeah, I did it. No matter it was happy or sad, winning or losing, it's been past. What was done was done. I wouldn't look back and would go on my right way. So, destroying diary book was one of my way to celebrate my birthday, like a ritual [(宗教)仪式].

That's why I have no diary books today. I keep what I want in my memory. If I'd forgetten anything, that must be something unworthy.

But right now, I start writing something in English for practicing, to start of somethig new. I will write down what I have learned or what I have thought, all in English. I will try my best to keep it going. It will be very very funny, we'll see.

"You have been missed"

I got a call from my younger brother this morning. It made me suddenly tense at that moment I picked up the phone. My brother seldom calls me if nothing happened. Usually we talk through MSN. There must be something happened if he must call me on the phone.

But he told me everything was OK. His calling just made sure I was all right, for he hadn’t seen me online for days. He said he just got a little worry about me. I felt great relief after he said so, and filled with joyful.

I was joyful because I was missed by someone (especially by families). It’s a great happiness to know about there’s someone cared about me. Everybody can understand that feeling of miss and been miss, I think.

I know the American always say ”I love you” or “I miss you” or something like that to their families. But most of Chinese don’t say such things to their families, even they do so. We just don’t speak out words like that, especially to parents. Most of Chinese parents have a power of authority to their children, not friends like. So the children have more respect than love to their parents. This condition happens in the traditional Chinese families. But in modern families, people are more opening at the relation of families. Maybe they would say love and miss and emotional things, I don’t know.

I was born at a traditional family in a traditional district. People in my hometown seldom say emotional words to their families, my families do so as well. I’ve never been told ”you’ve been missed” from my families, but I just know about it when ……when……Well,I just know about it.

Before Valentine's Day

It's not Valentine's Day yet. But we can feel it early because the commercial advertising is everywhere. We can see all of the advertisement of chocolates, flowers, sweet gifs when we are surfing the web, watching TV, out for shopping...

I was out to the Walmart for commodity and food stuff yesterday. I heard the Walmart broadcasted sweet love songs over and over. And the announcer encouraged people buying flowers and gifs again and again. It's hard not to notice that the beautiful roses and flower packages were placed in the forefront.

Everything seems sunddenly being romantic. How to be romantic? I know, commonly the romantic things are related with such as roses & flowers & sweet gifs, candle light dinner & red wine, dancing with lover on the beach in the setting sun, kissing when lover say those three words, ect.

But I think being romantic is not about the condition for what you've offered, or the gifs from which you've been sent. it's about the person with whom you are being. Everything will be romatic if you are in love with someone even if it's doing nothing just stay together.

The Valentine's Day comes from the occident 西方, 西洋, 欧美, 西欧诸国. I don't care much about it just like other  holidays.  Actually we had Chinese Valentine's Day two days ago. Yea, and we will have another Chinese Valentine's Day on about the mid of the year, July 7 of the Chinese lunar calendar.

(And thank you, Sajid, for correcting me! )
